Moodboard
We constructed a moodboard to allow us to assess the themes and ideas of our genre and allow us to come to a conclusion as to what path our trailer will take, as even though zombie movies are generally thought of as a straight-forward genre, there are many different kinds of zombie horror variations.
School of the Dead (Synopsis)
School's out. For good. When a lethal viral outbreak is unleashed into a small school that causes the dead to rise again with an unquenchable thirst for blood, the government have no choice but to put the school under a complete lock down, so nothing can get in... Or out. It's up to three friends, Ethan, Zack, and Destiny to stick together and survive until help comes... If it ever does.
Character Profile
This is a rough copy of our character profile. Nothing is final and these are all concepts.
These are the final character profiles.
After much discussion we decided to make the 3 characters 3 males instead, which is why we changed the Character of 'Destiny Daniels' to a third lead male, named Max:
Character 2: Max Hardy
Age: 17
Race: Caucasian
Primary Costume: School uniform
Traits: Funny, Sarcastic, Jokester, strong
Props: Baseball bat
Zack, Ethan, and Max have been best friends since child hood. They are an inseparable trio who must stick together to have any chance of making it out of the school alive.

Content/Feasibility/Rationale
We intend to create a trailer to encourage the public to view our product and spread the word about it. We will do this by having multiple filming sessions over the course of a week enabling us to create our trailer in time. We will also be getting assistance from class mates in terms of acting and feedback. This is project is worth doing because it enables the whole group to gain necessary knowledge about the film and TV industry whether we want to go into a profession based around it or not, and it also shows us the importance of planning and research not just in the film industry, but in life tasks in general.
